About us
Allegrine – my grandmother and source of inspiration.
It was in her kitchen in Paris that my lifelong and stormy love for straightforward, simple French food was founded. I remember the scents of thyme, garlic and aromatic spices to this day. Onions, lentils, asparagus, turnips and characteristic sausages were all cooked with the same loving care and gave me unforgettable food memories.
Allegrine – my restaurant by the small plaza on Kammakargatan.
Here, my team and I wish to create wonderful food memories for you, prepared with the ingredients we like best and that are in season.
Welcome to enjoy food with a clear foundation in French and interpreted in our way.
In the over 20 restaurants I have helped open over the past 25 years, I have tried most everything in cooking.
The more cuisines I have worked with, the more strongly my childhood food memories draw me back to French cuisine. Call it my Madeleine cake, I can’t escape it – the smells and flavors sit like unforgettable memories in my body and soul and it has inspired and shaped me as a chef.
Trendy, classic or innovative, words I don’t care about. At restaurant Allegrine, my team and I serve good food with clear roots in French cuisine, interpreted and prepared in our personal way.
